Dachau Concentration Camp
The front gate
The last road into Dachau before the front gate (1938)
A picture in 1938 when the camp was fully loaded
There were 30 outbuildings and the original foundations still remain
I think this next one is the only picture of any happiness in the museum. It was taken by a U.S. soldier from the first tank that rolled into the camp when it was liberated on April 29, 1945.
Tribute wall
Living outbuildings were built to hold 200 people, but were loaded with over 2000
The Infirmary in its original condition It was very disturbing and needs no explanation
The Showers
I tried to write a story, but I tried and can't seem to do it. These few pictures say more than anything I could write. Steve
